Clinica Médica Familiar
Opened in 1984 by Dr. Peter Pertl and extended in 2003 with the entry of Dr. Torsten Habeck, Clínica Médica Familiar was the first private medicine clinic in Carvoeiro, located in a safe and quiet community and recognized by its service, quality and care all over the years.
We provide services in the field of general medicine, including house calls, small surgeries, cardiology, echocardiography, ultrasound and laboratory tests and we also work in conjunction with other health units, private and public, in the Algarve and in Lisbon, in order to give the best service and care to our patients.
Dr. Torsten Habeck
Doctor, Clinica Medica Familiar
Torsten Habeck was born in Germany and graduated from the medical school of Martin-Luther University. He has experience working in Traumatology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Chiropractic, in both Germany and Portugal. Habeck has certifications to train medical staff for the army and training nurses. He currently works in the Clinica Medica Familiar Monte Carvoeiro in Portugal.
