César de Brito is born in Portugal in 1978. He grew up and studied in France where he graduated in 2001 from the prestigious Paris Dauphine University with a Master Degree in Finance. He worked for major financial groups both in France and Switzerland as equity fund manager and specialized in Sustainable and Impact investing. He had the responsibility of +€1bn assets portfolio dedicated to sustainable development. He was the co-author of a book on social sustainable investment in 2005. 

In 2009, he decided to create his own company « Eco Responsible Capital (ERC)» and providing therefore keys to long term investors to access the growing market of renewable energy projects in Europe. In 2013, ERC contributed to set up one of the biggest portfolio of French solar park with a total capacity of 100MWp. 

Having noticed in 2014 the huge opportunities offered by the Real Estate market in Portugal, he decided to launch in Lisbon DE BRITO Properties (DBP). His idea was to create a bridge between his vast knowledge in investment and his passion for « old stones ». Since then, his main focus has been real estate development and brokerage, helping foreign investors entering into the Portuguese market.  

Using his financial experience helped César to attract funds and secure safe investments in the Portuguese Real Estate market. Nowadays, 20 agents, mostly dedicated to foreign investors are working for DBP. César has today an extensive track record in several developments in Lisbon and surroundings (Vista a Graça, Cardiff 40, Escadinhas Marques, Vila Alegre, Arrabida cottage,…). He likes to define himself as being a pioneer in emerging trends, helping them to start to grow to a larger scale.  

César is married with Hélène and they have 3 young children, Augustin, Camille and Victor. He loves travelling, doing Urban Exploration by photographing abandoned monuments and snoop around for antiquities in old markets.
